Help people understand.
Give them a useful next step.

I’m Brooke Quinn, a sleep scientist, educator, and founder of Quinnspired. I work where sleep science, medical technology, and everyday understanding meet—helping teams turn complex information into usable workflows, training, resources, and talks.

WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

Start with the problem
you want to solve.

These are starting points for a scoped project.
Deliverables depend on your audience and goals.

CONNECT THE PRODUCT TO REAL USE

Medtech workflows & device education

Your device or health-technology team needs instructions, training, and workflows that make sense to the people using them.

Possible deliverables
Provider and home-use instruction drafts, quick-start guides, user-task mapping, cross-document review, and questions for human-factors or clinical review.
A useful fit for
Medical-device, digital-health, clinical research, and product teams.

HELP AN AUDIENCE UNDERSTAND

Speaking & workshops

You need a clear, engaging way to talk about sleep or health science with your audience.

Possible deliverables
A talk or workshop, audience-specific slides, and an agreed take-home resource.
A useful fit for
Conferences, advocacy groups, workplaces, and community organizations.

TURN SCIENCE INTO SOMETHING USEFUL

Educational content & training

Your team has information to share, but people still leave with questions.

Possible deliverables
A plain-language guide, patient or caregiver education, a training module, or a set of companion resources.
A useful fit for
Health organizations, clinical teams, advocacy groups, and health-technology companies.

MAKE THE NEXT STEP CLEARER

Resource & experience strategy

You have resources, an idea, or a program—and need a coherent path through it.

Possible deliverables
An audit of the current experience, an audience journey, a resource plan, and a prioritized next-step roadmap.
A useful fit for
Teams building or improving an education program, resource collection, or community experience.
Discuss a project like this

Projects are scoped and priced individually. We agree on deliverables, fee, timing, and any clinical, regulatory, or human-factors review responsibilities before work begins.

SELECTED PROJECT EXPERIENCE

From technical detail
to a usable next step.

Examples of my contribution.
Client materials stay private.

MEDICAL-DEVICE DOCUMENTATION

Aligning instructions with the real workflow.

A device team needed its professional and home-use materials to tell a consistent story about who does what, and what still needed review.

My contribution
Reviewed and aligned provider instructions, a home quick-start guide, user-task and use-related risk documentation, and questions for specialist review.
Work delivered
A coordinated draft documentation package for team and external human-factors review, with open dependencies made explicit.

Documentation and review support. Final labeling, validation, and regulatory decisions remain with the responsible team.

PEDIATRIC DIGITAL-HEALTH DEVELOPMENT

Making family observations easier to communicate.

A developing sleep questionnaire and pathway needed to connect parent-friendly questions with information useful to a multidisciplinary team.

My contribution
Contributed to questionnaire and pathway design, parent-facing language, evidence mapping, review planning, and reconciliation between the intended framework and its implementation.
Project stage
Prior consulting contributions to a development-stage prototype. Further clinical review and real-world evaluation are needed before claims about safety or outcomes.

Development experience. This example is not a released screening service or a claim of clinical validation.

ABOUT BROOKE

Sleep science.
Research experience.
A teacher’s attention to the question.

My background includes an MSc in Sleep Medicine from the University of Oxford, work as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT), and experience across clinical research, medical-device education, professional training, and clinical workflow development.

I bring hands-on sleep-lab experience together with research and industry work. That helps me see the gaps between a technical document, a team’s workflow, and the questions a patient or family is likely to ask. Watson & Sherlock grew from my son’s bedtime questions; Quinnspired is the home for that same curiosity across adult, family, and professional education.

This work supports education and understanding. Individual assessment and treatment belong with a qualified healthcare professional. Clinical claims and recommendations require the appropriate review.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

From a question to a defined project.

  1. Share the need.

Tell me who you’re reaching, what feels unclear, and what you hope people will understand or do.

  2. Agree on a useful scope.

We clarify the deliverable, budget, timing, and review needs before committing to the work.

  3. Create, review, and hand over.

The agreed project includes clear review points and a defined handoff. Further work is scoped separately.
